Mr. Chris brings over ten years of industry experience to W-Safe Re. in Finance and Credit Control within the insurance and reinsurance industry. He began his career at First Reinsurance Brokers, a leading reinsurance brokerage firm, and later joined Ghana Reinsurance as a Credit Controller. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing credit operations across the Eastern and Southern Africa markets. His strong background in financial management and credit control makes him a valuable addition to our team. is an accomplished Finance Executive with over 14 years of progressive experience in the Insurance and Reinsurance sector, specializing in financial reporting, management accounting, credit control, and strategic planning. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and has previously held key leadership roles, including Deputy Finance Manager at Takaful Insurance of Africa Ltd, Senior Accountant at First Reinsurance Brokers, and Finance & Credit Consultant at Ghana Reinsurance PLC (Ghana Re).

At W-Safe Re, he serves as Credit Control Manager, where he is responsible for strengthening the company’s credit management framework, optimizing premium collection, and enhancing receivables performance. He leads the development and implementation of credit risk assessment processes, supports cashflow efficiency, and ensures effective account management in collaboration with underwriting, finance, and business development teams. His leadership contributes directly to the company’s financial resilience, operational efficiency, and continued growth.
