Claims Manager

Mr. Shingirayi brings over a decade of leadership experience in the insurance industry, with deep expertise in claims management and client service. His career spans Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and South Africa, where he has held key positions with respected insurers and brokers including Altfin Insurance, Marsh, Lion of Africa Insurance, and Global Alliance Insurance.

He holds a BBA in Financial Services, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration, and is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa (FIISA). He also holds an Insurance Diploma (IIZ) and is currently completing his Master’s in Business Leadership.

 

Now serving as Claims Manager at W-Safe Re, Mr. Chirikure oversees reinsurance claims function, leading a team of analysts, ensuring accurate coverage determination, managing loss reserving processes, and maintaining strict compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. He works closely with the team to resolve complex claims, strengthen partnerships, and uphold high service standards. With his hands-on approach, regional experience, and strong operational expertise, Mr. Chirikure is a valuable asset to W-Safe Re’s continued growth and excellence in claims management.
